This beginner-friendly class will help you better understand your Android phone, Google account, storage, photos, apps, and subscriptions so you can manage your device with more confidence.

We’ll cover:

• Google account basics and why it matters
• Phone storage vs. cloud storage
• Google Photos, Google Drive, Google One, Samsung Cloud, and OneDrive
• What is backing up — and what may not be
• How to check what is taking up space
• Cleaning up photos, videos, downloads, emails, and files
• Removing unused apps
• Checking paid app subscriptions
• Recognizing fake “phone cleaner” apps and storage warnings
• Organizing apps and settings for easier everyday use
• Avoiding common cleanup mistakes that can delete or lose important files

This class is not about deleting everything. It is about understanding what is on your phone, what is backed up, and what can be safely cleaned up.

Includes a take-home handout with simple steps and reminders to help you feel confident with what you learned in class.
