Learn Canva basics with Jacob from The Main Print Shop
If you want to improve your Canva skills, and learn how to correctly set up a file to print, this is the class for you!
Across three 90-minute classes, Jacob from The Main Print Shop will teach you Canva basics – including selecting the correct file size, layout tips, and important print-prep steps like bleed, margins, resolution, common errors, and exporting files correctly.
Each class includes guided instruction, work-along time, individual Q&A, and a take-home handout. Participants will work on their own project throughout the series, with the goal of creating a finished design that can be reviewed and prepared for print.
The free version of Canva is fine. Participants should bring a laptop & charger, notebook, Canva login information.
Class size: Limit 6 persons.
Duration: 3 weeks; 90-minute classes

Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans sometimes change. Because class sizes are limited and instructors prepare based on registration, the following cancellation policy applies:
Student Cancellations
- Cancellations made at least four (4) days before the class start time are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made between 24 hours and four (4) days before class are eligible for a 50% refund. If the same class is offered again, registration may be transferred one time to a future date, subject to availability.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before class, as well as no-shows, are not eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer.
- For multi-week classes, cancellation deadlines are based on the first class in the series. Refunds, credits, and make-up sessions are not provided for individual classes missed during a series.
Instructor Rescheduling or Cancellations
If for some unforeseen reason, Skill Hall or the instructor cancels a class, participants may receive a full refund or transfer their registration to the rescheduled class.
